Bluetooth MIDI and pianist movement.

A clean setup starts with a reliable MIDI connection and relaxed hand motion.

Using a Bluetooth MIDI device

Bluetooth MIDI works when your operating system exposes the device as a MIDI input source. USB MIDI is usually the lowest-latency option, but Bluetooth MIDI can work well for a cleaner setup.

macOS

Open Audio MIDI Setup, show MIDI Studio, choose Configure Bluetooth, connect the Bluetooth MIDI device, then rescan MIDI devices in the app if needed.

Windows

Windows support depends on the app using a Bluetooth LE MIDI-capable API or a bridge/virtual MIDI port. The Windows parity build should treat Bluetooth MIDI exactly like USB MIDI after connection.

Pianist motion for tight note groups

Tight arrangements are easier when the wrist stays loose and the hand moves as a unit instead of stretching each finger in isolation.

MotionWhy it helps
Small wrist turnsRotate toward the finger that is playing so the hand follows the notes.
Forward motionMove slightly into the keys for deeper or black-key-heavy shapes.
Backward motionRelease toward the front of the keys when returning to lighter white-key shapes.
Hand repositioningMove the whole hand between clusters instead of over-stretching.
